Dear Parents and Guardians, Well I finally saw some robins outside so I guess warmer weather is on the way! One of my favorite things about the spring is the Scholastic Book Fair at Bakie! It is Buy One, Get One (BOGO). Our class is scheduled to browse the book fair on Tuesday, April 18th and we will go back on Thursday, April 20th to purchase our books! It is a great time to stock up on summer reading books for your family! As usual I will be having the kids fill out a wish list to bring home on Tuesday night so you can send in the money for your child! Just a reminder that we have an amazing field trip to the New England Aquarium and IMAX Theatre in Boston on May 31st. The permission slip and $18.00 fee is due by Thursday, April 20th! Please do not send in cash! Checks or money order only! Parent and teacher conferences will be offered on two days this month, Thursday, April 13 and Monday, April 17th. I would like to meet with you to discuss your child’s progress. The conference will replace the trimester 3 interim progress report. Conferences will be 15 minutes in length. Please choose a couple of spots that work for you and I will send back a confirmation letter with your appointment.
