Design and Engineering in Science

Today the kids learned about the Scientific Method.
1. Ask a question
2. Research your topic
3. Make a hypothesis
4. Conduct an experiment
5. Draw conclusions

The challenge was to build a sled for Santa with certain materials.  They made a plan and drew a diagram and then built their sled.  Here are some pictures of the sleds.  We will test them tomorrow to see how they slide!
